20 MPH Survey Results

Caroline Ansell’s survey to gauge views on a default 20mph speed limit in the town has come back with overwhelming opposition to such a move. 

Caroline’s research that found 84% of people would be opposed.

One of Eastbourne’s farmers went to Downing Street recently with MP Caroline Ansell for a Food and Farming Reception.

Henry Brown and his wife Emily, who run Chalk Farm, passed through the famous black door and home of the Prime Minister for the evening event.

I got very wet and a bit muddy but it was brilliant to join the construction team at the new surgical centre now taking shape fast on the DGH site.  The new hospital investment coming to our town is going to be game-changing.

There was brilliant news for Eastbourne in the Budget this week when the Chancellor announced a further £20 million of Towns Fund money to level up and regenerate our town over the next decade.
