The internet has offered up a world of new opportunities, but we know that young people have also been exposed to harmful images and influences online.

 

We also know that in unprecedented numbers, children and young people around the world are suffering in their mental health.

 

Is the advent of the smartphone an underlying cause?

 

I am working on an enquiry in Parliament on young people’s ‘screen time’ and the impact it has on their education and learning. I am keen to hear from parents and teachers about their experience of the online world.
