Eastbourne and Willingdon MP Caroline Ansell has congratulated a local restaurant being shortlisted for the prestigious British Kebab Awards.
Dem Shish Restaurant & Cocktail Bar in South Street was announced as the finalist last month in the Fine Dining category.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on 28th February.
“Congratulations to Dem Shish for getting to the final,” said Caroline.
“Every year Eastbourne's reputation as a foodie centre continues to grow and this latest recognition is great news.
“Top quality and award-winning restaurants, shops and bars add so much to the visitor experience and help drive our economy. I wish the restaurant the very best of luck and I will be watching closely to see the outcome.”
