A pleasure to join Eastbourne Mayor at the braking ground ceremony for The JPK Project for their new development of 8 flats to facilitate independent living for those with learning difficulties.
I have known Jill for many years and she and the team have worked tirelessly to give opportunities and independence. Already the new units are over subscribed.
Teaming up with local charity we discussed ways in which the new units have been designed in particular ways - including sensory lights and sky lights. The rooms are well designed and will have an impact.
You can always support the JPK project by attending the cafe. I can confirm the coffee and cake are excellent! As in the new range of jam!
