The University of Brighton’s Sports Centre in Denton Road comprises extensive, state of the art spaces and equipment. To date, the Centre has been primarily for the use of the university’s students but the University has made community memberships available and rented space to groups such as CACL.
With the university moving its operations to Brighton and selling its Eastbourne campus, the future of this important asset is on the line. Key to its future is the community membership base. Are there new members out there?

- 36 station fitness suite with a designated cardiovascular area packed with bikes, treadmills, and rowers, cross-trainers and steppers. Free weights range from 2-40kg with 15 resistance stations.
- Large 6 court sports hall marked for badminton, basketball and volleyball.
- 30 seat meeting room with direct access to the sports hall and extensive foyer.
- Artificial ¾ length outdoor pitch. Marked for Football, Hockey and Lacrosse.
- Covered outdoor climbing wall, excellent for traversing and beginners.
- Two gymnasiums available for exercise classes, badminton, football, basketball, gymnastics, children’s parties.
