I am delighted to see that Wealden District Council's Planning Committee North has decided to uphold the decision of Planning Committee South to refuse permission for Mornings Mill development.
I objected most strongly to this application and its previous application back in 2018. I have long argued that the overdevelopment of Willingdon is unsustainable and losing this last green space in the village will be keenly felt.
Whether or not the developer chooses to appeal our local community has made its voice heard. My thanks to all of those who have helped with the campaign against this development.
